Sublimation-printed ribbons represent the perfect integration of color and ribbon, breaking the limitations of traditional ribbon patterns and colors. This process uses high temperature and pressure in heating transfer printing to transform ink on transfer paper into gas, which penetrates the ribbon fibers, achieving precise pattern transfer. It produces vibrant, natural, and highly detailed patterns that retain their vividness even after multiple washes.
The manufacturing process of sublimation-printed ribbons combines technology and art. First, ribbon pre-treatment involves cleaning and softening to improve ink absorption. Then, pattern design and printing require designers to create designs and print them onto transfer paper with high precision, as ink quality and printing accuracy directly affect the final result. In the heating transfer printing step, the transfer paper and ribbon are placed together in a heat press machine, where high temperature (around 180℃ - 220℃) and pressure sublimate the ink into the ribbon fibers. Post-processing includes washing to remove residual ink and setting to restore flatness. Finally, quality inspection and packaging ensure each ribbon presents a stunning visual effect with accurate color reproduction and clarity.
These ribbons shine in full-color, high-resolution pattern printing, capable of vividly presenting landscapes, portraits, or abstract art. They are widely used in sportswear, outdoor gear, and fashion accessories. For example, sublimation-printed ribbons on sports bags can feature dynamic patterns, adding personality. In dance costumes, colorful ribbons enhance stage performances with their flowing and eye-catching appearance, endowing products with unique artistic charm and fashion sense.
